How do the 360° animations work?

We take professionally photographed images from 32-100 different angles. These images are processed for consistency and then stitched together in Flash using our custom technology to allow you to drag and rotate them.

What are the costs of your animations?

There are a few key factors that determine size. The first is the size of the object and the relative expenses associated with photographing them. Some items such as motor vehicles have special requirements that must be taken into consideration when determining cost. Another factor is the smoothness of the animation. The smoother the animation desired, the more pictures needed to be taken, processed, and assembled.

How hard is it to implement your products in my site?

Installing any of our animations or videos is as simple as embedding a Youtube video on your site. Since all of our products are made in Flash, the same technology that Youtube uses, all you have to do is copy the code we give you and insert it anywhere you want in your current website. Your account executive can walk you through the procedure or for a small fee we can do it for you.

How big are the final files for the 360° animations and flash video?

This depends on the size and quality of the pictures that you decide to use for your 360 animation. Most of the 360 animations are smaller than 50K. That's an eighth the size of a normal mp3 song! If the size of the final file is a concern, there are various options that we can implement to limit the final output file size. For one, we could reduce the resolution of the pictures as well as the number of pictures we use in the 360 animation. For Flash Video, there are various encoding options that can greatly reduce the final file size. Optimizing the file sizes to meet your needs is available at no extra charge.

How do I take advantage of your professional photography services for Product360° and Panoramic360°?

Depending on the size of the product, the most convenient method is to ship us the product for photography. All samples will be returned at the client’s request. For larger items such as motor vehicles, a local photography studio can be used or mobile green screen can be brought to your location.

What if I don't want/need you to return my products to me?

If you do not want your products returned, we will ask you to sign a release and we will dispose of them accordingly. Otherwise, all products will be returned and the client billed for the shipping costs.

Who owns the licenses and the rights to the finished products?

You do. You own the complete rights to the final Flash files. This allows you to implement the Flash files in any way and on as many websites as you like.

Do I have to host the Flash files on my own website?

We offer hosting services. If you are concerned about bandwidth or space on your server, mediaTHREEsixty can host the files for you.

What if I like your products but I don't have a website?

What is the turn around time to get one of your animations done?

It depends on the workload but turnaround time, including photography could be as short as 7 business days.

Will your animations work on any server (ie unix/apache, widows)?

Yes, all of our animations use Flash, which is the same technology that Youtube uses, and it is designed to work on any type of server.
